Nine Patch Parade Sew-a-Long

Please join us in the 2021 Nine Patch Parade.

It's never too late to join the Parade!
There's plenty of room
and no baton twirling skills are required! :)

It is amazing how much fun, inspiration, motivation and encouragement
participating in an Internet Sewalong can add to your quilting life.

What is it?

The original Nine Patch Parade was a six-month sewalong, which started February 1, 2020. It was created to celebrate the introduction of the seven From Marti Michell Nine Patch Rulers. Instead of a typical block-a-day sewalong, the Nine Patch Parade was designed to make a finished project each month. No size limitations, but a project inspired by the six patterns in the Nine Patch Parade Starter set.

What Happened?

On one hand, the Nine Patch Rulers were received with rave reviews. (And we will soon be introducing a companion Nine Patch Tool Set that expands the Nine Patch repertoire even more!) On the other hand, everything that could ruin a parade did just that! After 2 months, the parade was “rained out!”

But this is a new year and
a new start to the Nine Patch Parade!

Some things are the same,
and some things are even better than before!

What is the Same?

You need the #7118 Nine Patch Parade Starter Pack of 6 patterns and two Nine Patch Rulers.
The challenge is to have fun quilting as you complete one Nine Patch project each month. There are no size limitations, and the projects can be just like one of the projects in the pattern or simply inspired by the pattern.
Gnome Angel (Australian quilter Angie Wilson) is the Parade Marshall. Please visit her blog for parade details here:

What is Different?

2020 is behind us!
Nine Patch Parade will last 9 months!
Angie has had so much fun that she has added Nine Patch patterns.
